Brooklyn-based sustainability technology startup that develops ammonia-to-power solutions to decarbonize transportations.
2. Neology
Based in Switzerland, Neology focuses on carbon-free energy storage and distribution for commercial transportation.
3. Jupiter Ionics
Jupiter Ionics is an Australian company developing a new approach to synthesis of carbon-neutral ammonia and ammonia derivatives for sustainable agriculture, transport and renewable energy exports.
4. Tsubame BHB
Tsubame BHB is a Japanese startup company with an aim to commercialize on-site ammonia production at small scale plants using electride-based catalyst.
5. Nium
The UK based company, Nium, developed a nanotechnology that is capable of synthesizing ammonia reducing the pressure, temperature, energy and greenhouse gas emissions.
6. Starfire Energy
Starfire Energy is a US based clean energy company focusing on carbon free ammonia fuel having developed a flexible process for making ammonia from air, water, and clean energy.
7. Ammoginy
Germany based Ammonigy develops large CO2 neutral engines with a combination of ammonia and hydrogen.
8. Atmonia
Atmonia is an Icelandic company that is developing a nitrogen electrolyser that applies a catalyst in an electrochemical cell to reduce atmospheric nitrogen and split water to form ammonia.
9. Proton Ventures
Proton Ventures, based in the Netherlands, specializes in ammonia related technologies and products, including storage concepts for chemical and liquid energy carriers.
10. EconnectEnergy
Econnect is a Norwegian company focusing on the energy and maritime markets offering innovative solutions on LNG transfer, ammonia, and carbon capture.
11. CF Industries
CF Industries is a global leader and manufacturer of ammonia with a special focus on emissions abatement.
12. Wärtsilä
Wärtsilä is a global leader in innovative technologies and lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets.
13. Yara International
Yara International is a Norwegian based company manufacturing and distributing fertilizers and related industrial products delivering solutions for sustainable agriculture and environment. Their new unit, Yara Clean Ammonia (YCA), focuses on the clean ammonia segments.
