Technology Description
Converts sensible heat to enthalpy of vapour for reducing the system temperature. It can be air-mediated or water-mediated and direct or indirect.
Relevance for Net Zero
Energy and cost savings. No refrigerants. Deployment is limited to places with low heating and hot water demand (otherwise a net-zero emissions household would need a reversible unit).
